PRICING
How our pricing works
Small jobs and handyman work
Repairs, installs and to-do lists are booked in half-day and full-day blocks: $550 per carpenter for a half day, $950 per carpenter for a full day. You get a set block of our time, and we work through your list in order of priority.
Remodels and larger projects
Remodels are quoted as a written scope with a set price, not by the day. That price covers more than time on site: measuring and planning, ordering materials, protecting your home, demo and haul-away, scheduling each trade in the right order, wait time for things like tile and paint to cure, and final cleanup.
Can you just book two of us for a day? For a list of small tasks, absolutely. For a remodel, a day-rate booking usually doesn’t fit how the job runs, and you’d carry the risk of extra days. A scoped quote tells you the full cost before we start.
Not sure which fits your job? Request a job and we’ll recommend the right option, or get a ballpark with our online project estimator.

FAQ
Questions San Diego homeowners ask us
-
Start by looking up the contractor's license on the CSLB website. Make sure it's active and the right type for your job. Ask for proof of liability insurance and workers' comp. Then look for recent reviews and photos of similar jobs. Get a written scope that spells out what's included and what isn't. Be wary of a timeline that sounds too good to be true, like a fully tiled shower in three days. In California, the down payment on a home improvement contract can't be more than 10% of the price or $1,000, whichever is less. A contractor asking for much more up front is a red flag. You can verify our license, #1096361, on the CSLB site.

It depends on the work. In the City of San Diego, cosmetic updates like painting, new cabinets and flooring generally don't need a building permit. Adding circuits, moving plumbing, changing walls or replacing a water heater does. We focus on remodels that stay within your existing layout and don't require permits, and we'll tell you up front if yours would. Every job goes through our own internal checks, including testing waterproofing before tile goes on, and is backed by our 1-year workmanship warranty.
-
A tiled shower using a standard tile, like a 12x24 porcelain, takes at least 7 working days. That covers demo, waterproofing, testing and tile. Most smaller full bathrooms take about 2.5 weeks, and kitchens take about the same. Part of that time is waiting. Grout needs a few days to cure before it's sealed, then the sealer needs time too, and drywall and texture repairs need dry time. Some days on site are short because of it, but rushing cure times is how showers fail. The biggest key to a smooth project is having materials lined up before we start. Some things, like backordered fixtures or special-order tile, are out of our control, so we'll advise you on what to order and when to keep your project on track. Your written scope includes a target timeline.

We started HUGE Home Pros in 2022 to solve a common problem: finding skilled pros who communicate clearly and show up on time. Most of our work is done by our own W-2 employees, which gives us direct control over scheduling. Every job starts with a written scope that says what's included, what isn't and what it costs. We protect your home like it's our own, keep job sites clean and reply quickly. We're a licensed general contractor (CA Lic. #1096361) with 280+ Google reviews at 5.0 stars.

Both. Repairs, installs and to-do lists are booked in blocks, per carpenter: $550 for a half day (4 hours) or $950 for a full day. We work through your list in order of priority. Remodels get a written scope and a set price instead.
-
Yes. Our workmanship is covered for 1 year. If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we'll come back and make it right. The warranty doesn't cover defects in the products themselves, like appliances, fixtures or materials. Those fall under the manufacturer's warranty.
-
Most of our work, including carpentry and tile, is done by our own W-2 employees, so we control the schedule. For specialty work like bigger plumbing and electrical jobs, countertops and wallpaper, we bring in trusted subcontractors. Their schedules can need a little more flexibility, so we plan for that up front and coordinate them as part of your project.

Yes. Financing is offered through Enhancify's lending partners, subject to credit approval. Visit our financing page to see your options and estimate a monthly payment.
